I am an avid fly fisherman. On my days off, looking for any opportunity to find a stream or lake to wet my line and catch a prized fish. I also enjoy animals and have always owned English Springer Spaniels. They have an awesome temperament and are so loving. I have lived in Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, and Waterford. I enjoy hiking and nature. In the winter months, I like to get outside and snowshoe. In the summer, I enjoy gardening and long walks out in nature. On my days off, I enjoy cooking. It is always enjoyable to try new recipes and occasionally, you find some that become one of your favorites!

My family have been in the insurance industry all my life. I have a father, Bob J Ross, who was a 46-year, President Club, State Farm Agent. I also have a younger brother and brother-in-law, who are State Farm agents as well. This career choice is my passion and, all I have ever known. I have worked for State Farm since 1989, after graduating from Oakland University. That means I have over 34+ years of insurance experience to share with my customers. I was a claim handler and handled PIP claims. I have experience in negotiating liability claims with many law firms. I was promoted into management, which allowed me to exercise my leadership skills.
